Building upon existing spaces across the city, the newest Sonder Austin location is at The Braxton, a boutique luxury living complex in the heart of Austin’s Triangle Area, scheduled to open in February of 2019. The Braxton is walking distance to some of the city’s favorite restaurants, shops, and parks. Guests of Sonder’s 13 units will have access to amenities that include a rooftop pool, lounge, bar and grill area, yoga yard and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The building will also feature a mural from local artist Mike Johnston, celebrating the exciting culture of the area.
Sonder first launched in Austin in June, opening its first location on South 1st. Since then, the team has rapidly expanded, opening several new locations in some of Austin’s most vibrant areas including the The Domain, Burnet Road and the heart of South Congress.

By leasing large groups of units, and even entire floors, in new luxury developments, Sonder helps to stabilize projects for developers in vibrant, mixed-use Austin neighborhoods. By early 2019, Sonder will operate over 50 units in Austin across six locations. Sonder has partnered with Mid City Development on the Braxton project.
